Both of my sons suffered from migraines. My older son was put on

Periactin. It has helped a lot. My younger son was put on

Propranolol. Both have seen a decrease in migraines. They are also

both on low doses. I would question your doctor telling you to use

Tyelnol or Advil because of long term issues with taking too much.

Good Luck,

Marie

> The migraine medication issue is a struggle for me. I can't

understand why my docs want me to use only Tylenol or motrin for

Asenath's horrible migraines, even the ones she has during strokes.

I used to have Tylenol with Codeine and that helped her. The

neurologist for some reason doesn't seem it is necessary or good to

use anything more. Darla
