The way I have been explained it is that when there is less energy utilization for the brain and oxygen limitations due to the inability to utilize it appropriately, it causes imflammation in different areas of the brain. Imflammation can cause temporary narrowing of arteries which causes less blood flow and oxygen to affected areas of the brain. This in return, can cause strokes. My girls are notorious for having strokes during their viruses. Asenath has had one with every virus in the past year and a half except one. Zipporrah has had two viruses and two stroke episodes. Viruses are a hated enemy in this house. Hope this helps. I am sure someone a little more medically minded could explain it better but hopefully it helps you understand it a little better. :) Darla Re: Re: Kass- Migraines, was Need help- growth issues metabolic imflamation (which probably causes most of her stroke episodes) Darla, could you explain what this is? Why is the inflammation metabolic in nature? Do you see any specific sx relatng to this? I hope the girls are doing better! How have you been doing? e, Chelsea's mom(nonspecific mtio)Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions. Get more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com
