My son was diagnosed with SCAD and just recently after seeing Dr. Vockley he thinks he has Mito and SCAD. I have so many questions. Thanks Tina - New York Mom to AJ - Mito/SCAD Sedation question Hello: Has anyone ever had problems with their child coming off of sedation? Brenna (3 yrs) received 130 mg orally of NEMBUTAL on Tuesday for her MRI & MRS. That was at 8:30 AM. We went home just after 10 am and when she woke up at 1:30 PM she could lift her head, but then it would just fall back down. She then started to take juice and by 3 pm was vomiting. By 5 PM her nurse was here checking her and she still could not stand up & continued to vomit. She was still sleepy yesterday, but much better than the day before. Her MD's think she just had a reaction to it, but I am interested if other mito kids have had troubles with this med or others.
