Hey all...Just have a quick question about filing this yrs. taxes...

I have a good friend who has 3 adopted children. She was told that they were considered special needs...one is fine and the other two have speech delays. But being that they were considered special needs...there is a "special needs" children claim for taxes??? Has anyone ever heard of this? And if so what publications and such are used for this type of claim??? Any pertinence info is greatly appreciated in this matter. I have never heard of such a thing and would not have the slightest clue where to start with my daughter who has mito.

Please write back soon if anyone has any info. Thanks in advance. Feel free to personally e-mail me at:

Thanks again,

Debbie...mommy to Jaleigh mito affected

Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.

I found that California credit last year, too. I don't see anything on the federal taxes, though.
