Guest guest
Has anyone heard From Kim? With my emails service being so bad I am concerned I've missed an email on my personal account from her. I am praying so much for her to get the medical care she is needing... Kim from Kuwait did send us a short email. She is now having problems with GrandMal seizures, and it hasn't been determined why. Her computer is having major problems, and is only working a small portion of the time-- add the health issues, and she's not able to communicate with anyone very much. Do keep her in your prayers and in your hearts--as well as her kids. Tracie
Guest guest
My Internet service has been upgrading and service has been lousy. I had my first Remicade infusion today and had not a problem. I was given no additional medication and I am looking forward to the next few days and praying it I will get better. Has anyone heard From Kim? With my emails service being so bad I am concerned I've missed an email on my personal account from her. I am praying so much for her to get the medical care she is needing... Guest guest
Tracie, If you hear from Kim, please let her know that I am praying for her. Those seizures must be horrible - I don't know what I would do if I was in her place. Do you know if her shingles every subsided. It is bad enough with everything else going on and then to have the shingles lingering.... Just let her know I asked about her if you hear from her. Thanks. Guest guest
Thanks Darlene....that's what was going on the last time I heard from Kim. It must be so terrible for her and I am so worried about her. Please let us know if you hear anything. I don't know if the Remicade is suppose to work this quickly, but I do feel better today. Perhaps it is just having the hope of something working! It is so hard not to overdo after feeling rotten, but I know I must try not to overdo. Guest guest
I also have been super worried about Kim. I have asked my mama to pray for her as well. I am fairly new, why is Kim in Kuwait? Guest guest
Yes Ruth don't over due it's not worth it. Some of you know about my healing and I won't go into it again, just think of it as a good treatment. I have been feeling so good, that I went to teaching two days for 3 hours each, which I can still handle to slowly creeping up to 3days, then 4 days, then 5 days for the last 2 weeks of the semester, and my volcano blew! The head pain was just awful, I don't have much body pain anymore, what a blessing, but the head went nuts, (which of course I already am), and I am still paying the price. Went to the doc yesterday, and he said well I think we need to increase your metotrexate, as I was trying to get off the stuff. And increased per my suggestion after my research the Nortriptyline, so it's getting better. Sorry to rant, but see what happens when we push, we really shouldn't push! So please don't enjoy feeling better, where you are. Blessings, Marla Re: Check-in time Thanks Darlene....that's what was going on the last time I heard from Kim. Guest guest
Marla, We all have to remember, when we are pushing a box of rocks up a hill, there is always a good chance it's gonna slide backwards and run over us. (As bad as I hate to admit it, it's the truth) Please take care, and don't feel rained on. Slowing down and behaving is not something I do well. In fact I have gotten into major trouble for deciding I was not going to put up with my body's aggrevating ways, forcing it to do more than it can stand, and then it deciding to pay me back, drawing back and slapping me into next year. I know that's an unusual way to write about one's own body, but sometimes I feel like my physical body and my mind & soul have squared off with each other. The part that stinks is that usually the physical body wins, makes me madder than a wet hen when it does////Always ConnieMarla Bramer wrote: Yes Ruth don't over due it's not worth it. Thehead pain was just awful, I don't have much body pain anymore, what ablessing, but the head went nuts, (which of course I already am), and I amstill paying the price. Went to the doc yesterday, and he said well I thinkwe need to increase your metotrexate, as I was trying to get off the stuff. And increased per my suggestion after my research the Nortriptyline, so it'sgetting better. Sorry to rant, but see what happens when we push, we really shouldn't push!So please don't enjoy feeling better, where you are. Perhaps it is just having the hope of something working! It is so hard not to overdo after feeling rotten, but I know I must try notto overdo. Thanks againRuthNeurosarcoidosis , "Darlene" wrote:>> Ruth,> I am glad your first infusion went well.....you rest for a dayor> so and don't over-do! Guest guest
Kim's husband is Kuwaiti; they met in college at Ohio State. Her oldest kids, twins, are just finishing their freshman year at OSU. It's been very difficult for her to have the kids so far away. I have asked my mama to pray for her as well. I am fairly new, why is Kim in Kuwait? Is she military? Bless her son, I'm glad he's there for her////Connieolehomepla wrote: Thanks Darlene....that's what was going on the last time I heard from Kim.
