Arlene, I found that interesting. . . Before Chelsea was dx'd with mito, my friend ran across Rett Syndrome, which Chelsea nearly fit to a T, except for autism and hang wringing. I was told. however, that her neuro could dx rett's before he even saw the pt.

I wouyld be interested if anyone else was looking into Rett's or wisdx'd with it?

dr. cohen tested my daughter for retts in our beginning stages

of " mito " ....she was a little over a year old.

the results came back negative.....and eventually we got a dx of

leighs.
