Matt, I feel the say way about my doctors, bless them all, but it is so draining going from one doctor to the next and the next each day of the month or so it seems. And, I'm sorry to read about both your medical procedures. Hi Rose- to get to my moms u take a ferry for 35

minutes or u can drive around the backside for a

bridge but that take over 2 hours- My mom has a real

big house so anyone visiting Seattle would be most

welcome to come stay or visit- Matt

That's great, Matt. Boy, I hope that's the end of the

kidney stone problems for awhile. Now just the

cataract surgery, then vacation time! Do you have to

ride the ferry to get to your mom's, or is there a

bridge? I've only been to Seattle once, five years

ago. I went to Port Angeles with a friend who grew up

there. What a wonderful place! Mountains & water

just minutes apart. Here is a photo of me at Port

Angeles. I would love to live there.

Matt, they seem to include it in the differential diagnosis pretty often. Once House told them to start treatment with cyclosporine (isn't that Cytoxan?) while running other tests. No steroids. Maybe some episode the patient will actually have NS! Pity the poor thing. The patients always get a lot worse, to the brink of death or worse, before House comes up with the right diagnosis.

Hi Rose- thats how my eye feels- like someone stabing

me i the eye- It tends to came eeryday sometimes for a

short time sometimes as long as an hour- it drives me

crazy when it is hurting then all of a sudden the

pain goes away i also wondered if i had a tumor but

they said i didnt- they just dont know what is causing

it MATT

--- Rose mamadogrose@...> wrote:

Matt, I've had pain in my left eye since a bout of

trigeminal neuralgia (5th cranial nerve) several years

ago. It's a chronic ache that every few days worsens

to feeling like someone stabbing the back of my eye.

The first few months I had it, I went to 2 different

opthamologists because I was just sure I had a tumor

behind my eye. They both assured me, after thorough

exams, that I " didn't have a tumor " (everyone who saw

Arnold S. in Kindergarten Cop will know how to

pronounce that). They said it was residual nerve

damage. I don't know if this is any-thing like your

situation.

Kim, I know what you mean about er visits. If a body part isn't hanging by a thread and spitting blood across the room it is hard to get them to take you seriously. It takes an act of congress to make me go to the er because of the treatment received there. Maybe one day it will get better, and they will learn to see the less obvious. always, connieKim Pellett wrote: Hi Matt, I just went into ER too... I feel your pain!
