Guest guest
, Some people think instant grits are real grits. They are psuedo grits really. Just warning you and I wanted you to have the real grits experience. Have you ever seen " My Cousin Vinny " ? They have a great grit scene. Guest guest
, Yes plus Marisa Tome (sp) - she won the for her portrayal - plus Ralph Machio. It was about two boys from up North who are driving to college through the deep south and get arrested for murder. Very funny - Pesci and Tome eat grits in a southern diner that only sells literally " Breakfast " , " Lunch " and " Dinner " . They even use lard to fry with. I grew up eating stuff fried in lard by my North Carolina grandmother. MMMMM don't you thing. Guest guest
Isn't that some mixture of meat and grains and herbs...mostly pork...and usually fried up like sausage patties? ....sounds ok but I don't eat pork anymore. Without my gallbladder some of that stuff doesn't sit well anymore. My fav meat is a thick ground steak hamburger with cheese and on a nice roll and maybe a few carmelized sweet onions... . I guess i know what I'll be having before the week is over. cheesecake for dessert!! lol S. wrote: How does everyone feel about goetta???grannylunatic@...__________________________________________________
