I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with blood sugar as she was fed before the shaking. It reminded me so much of my son Marquis' tremors that he had as an infant due to his birth mother's drug use. Zipporrah also has been doing weird chewing motions with her tongue and sucking her tongue these past few days along with the tremors. She did have two episodes of tremors on the left side only of what looked like possible seizures at 2 weeks, but nothing since then so part of me is wondering if that might be a possibility because she doesn't do it all the time. I just noticed it at 2 weeks of age and then yesterday again in the early evening. Darla: mommy to Asenath and the gang Re: Further questions -shakiness Abbey shakes when she needs something to eat. We use cornstarch atnight b/c it's the food that takes the longest to metabolize. Also, she has difficulties regulating her body temperature. Her temp. goesup and down some days. After Abbey gets sick it takes her a long timeto get over it. She had a viral infection over Christmas and she sleptfor 4 days, waking for just a few hours a day. For days after, shecouldn't walk, which she's been doing for 6 months now. She seemed toforget how to put the shapes in the shape sorter which she loves todo. It was a good two weeks before she was feeling herself again. Shegets really crnaky and frustrated but the doctors say she'll probablyalways suffer these problems after an illness so we just take it a dayat a time. Hope Zipporah is feeling better.> Hi all,> I am coming to the experts again for information. Zipporrahhas been moving her left arm a little better but still moves it lessthan the right arm, has tightness in left shoulder, and postures itfrequently still The left leg is also somewhat better but not as goodas the right leg. It also hit us that she no longer knows how to playwhat we call the tongue game where she copies up sticking out hertongue after we do it. She could do it from 1 day old up until acouple weeks ago when I last tried. But when we were trying it todaywith her she seemed to be trying but couldn't. Also we have noticed alot of trembling in her extremities especially when she is excited (Wedid check her blood sugar just in case and it was 124). She has beensleeping much more and much more cranky yesterday and today as well. AND her temperature seems to be up and down. I needed batteries in mythermometer so am going only on touch with that, but sure feels up anddown. Sweaty one minute and cool to the touch the next minute. I amwondering what exactly is going on. It occurred to me that a SLEcould be a possibility because everything seemed to get much worseafter her RSV. I am hopeful that CP isn't an issue with her startingto improve but not happy about the possibility of a SLE either. Ifanyone has an opinion as to what could be happening I would appreciateit. > > Darla: mommy to Asenath, Zipporrah, Luke, Leah, , Isaa,Tirzah, Isaac, Tirzah, Marquis, and KeziaGet more from the Web.
