Guest guest
Since your little girl is not GFCF, then it is most certainly withdrawal. By going to 1 capsule each meal, you probably made a significant dent in the peptide supply to the brain. On the GFCF boards they say to allow a good 3 weeks for nasty withdrawal behavior. Maybe with the enzymes it won't be so bad. For best results, give the Peptizyde with any gluten/casein containing snacks as well. What I did (not preferring the diet either) was to plan fruit or GFCF chips or stuff for snacks without out enzymes, or give a gluten/casein snack with Peptizyde, or just save the gluten/casein food for mealtimes when they would have enzymes anyway. The idea is the same as the diet - no peptides in the body - whether you choose food elimination or enzymes or a combination of both. I will send you the files on magnesium or epsoms salts with all the dosing instructions. Epsom salts provide magnesium and sulfur (I make a homemade cream for the skin). MSM provides only sulfur and some people have a hard time tolerating it. I also give magnesium periodically throughout the week in the form of Natural Calm - a magnesium citrate drink from the health food store. Epsom salts act as a laxative if you drink it. Most people use it topically in a bath or as a cream on the skin. The magnesium supplements did help my younger son's constipation problem. I not only take " experts " with a grain of salt, but with an entire shaker! For years I endured comments like: 1. He is your first child so you are just a nervous mother and are over-reacting. 2. You are just stressed and depressed, your child is fine. 3. He will grow out of it. 4. He will not grow out of it, just learn to live with it...or around it, and start saving for adult care. 5. 's 3-yr old evaluation: is too odd to be autistic. This is really where we got the PDD-NOS diagnosis: Pediatrician Didn't Decide-Neurologically Odd Son. Parents are the best. .
