Guest guest
Sounds like typical gluten and casien withdrawal symptoms to me. I was told that the worse the withdrawal, the better the outcome. Austin went through that when we put him on the diet. It lasted about a week. Wishing you success. Guest guest
Oh Barbara, you sound so concerned (of course). Give it at least a week, hopefully it will be past before that. Yes, it can definitely be " delayed " withdrawal, gut cleaning, or even yeast/bacteria die-off from the proteases fighting bad gut bugs back. The key here is that you are seeing good improvements along with the negative. If it was all negative that could be a concern that something was really not going well. Stay at this dose awhile until she is at least evened out. You can back down if it gets really difficult but don't go higher. Are you giving Zyme Prime or another general enzyme product as well? Often that counters the 'hyperness' seen by just giving a protease alone. Other ideas to ease things are giving magnesium and/or epsom salts. There promote calming by supplying often needed sulfur and magnesium. Keep in touch this week. .
