Guest guest Posted September 29, 2003 Report Share Posted September 29, 2003 well i have medicare and medicaid.. well my doc is saying that my medicaide wont' pay because i don't meet the medicares' standards .. i have everything except for my 5 years under doctore supervison and i have back till 2000... they tell me my cost will be 4,680.00 bucks...but the insuance will cover the rest of the hospital bills and other test.. i just don't understan.. i am from nc on the eastern coast..my doctor is out of morehead city.. so anyone with any information please let me know...if not i am gonna go broworrow the money and get the ball rolling thanks, kerri k. You being fed a line because there is no pre-approval process (and no required period of supervised weight loss) with Medicare or Medicaid. It sounds like this surgeon is simply not wanting to accept Medicare/Medicaid rates (which are awful).
