Guest guest
Welcome, Dale! Glad to have you here. If you're otherwise healthy, your age should be no obstacle to getting the repairs you need. (If you've been reading around here a while, you'll know why I can say that!) I'm no guy, so shaving wasn't a concern for me. I think some of the fellows have said that it is difficult for a while post op, especially if you're swollen greatly. If you're numb, though, you won't have pain from it. ;~) Maybe you could just look grizzled for a week or so, and tell anybody who asks that you're cultivating the " five o'clock shadow " look. Or maybe your surgeon will have some other suggestions... Cammie, Thanks for the reply and suggestion. As far as the " grizzled " look goes . . . seems like I will have no other option. Arnie said it best. " If you were like me and worrying about shaving, then that means everything else is going great. " I truly hope that is the case. I enjoy reading your post. You've been there and done your homework. I will be in need of your help and advice, along with other post-ops, when it is my time for surgery. Thanks again! Take care.
