Guest guest
Hi, Tori. I'm only on day six, so I can't give too much info about swelling, especially not after good answer. But I *think* that younger patients heal more quickly. (maybe you can ask your surgeon.) I've heard of some 17 year olds who didn't look swolen at all after a week or two. I'm 33, so my recovery probably won't be as fast as yours. Also, I don't know what surgery you're planning on having, or why or when, but I read somewhere that usually surgeons wait until you are 17 (and pretty much done growning) before they do orthognathic surgery. Check into this with your surgeon. I hope you don't think I'm being nosey or a pain in the tuckus here, I just want them taking good care of you! Best of luck to you!
