Elevated Liver Enzymes?????

had trouble posting.. hopefully this doesn't post twice now:

Question for those with more experience or medical knowledge than

myself:

I had surgery on 7/30/2003, I did great for approximately 2 1/2 weeks

post-op, got a little over confident and went back to work right

away. I had pain, posted the question on here and called the surgeon

like you all suggested, he told his nurse to tell me over the phone

it was probably just muscle pain and he is going to see me tomorrow.

I work in a prison, and the medical staff there mentioned to me to

ask him to check my liver enzymes when I go in, that the pain I'm

experiencing seems to be similar to those they see who have liver

problems.

Is this common? Anyone heard of this surgery causing that problem in

patients? Anyone know what they do for that?

I'll be doing my research tonight just incase, but I see the doctor

at 10:30 tomorrow and I'm in pain and have been for the last

week..I'd like to know more about this so I can ask the right

questions when I go in.
