Guest guest
The ONLY thing he does for fun is Disney computer books and Disney movies. He watches certain parts over and over and over...until he ends up screaming (and still trying to watch the same spot!!) and I have to take the video away and hide it. Any thoughts on that?? sorry cut off the writer of this one... didnt mean to do that..... but thought about this at once, when seen it.... and have tried to figure out a way to say what am thinking.... and am hoping will do it right... it is hard to explain,... the thoughts..... but wonder if thisis sort of what others call a type of a OCD behaviour, accompanied with a a sort of a stimming behaviour... the visuals, or sound stuff from the video or computer story is the stim part, and the OCD part is the driven feeling one gets while trying to achieve the " ultimate stim " in a way.... perhaps a part of what he is seeing/hearing IS very pleasing, in some way, but it also may have a component to it, (i.e. the video portion is the pleasant stim, but the audioportion is the annoying part,, or some other such combination).... a component which is a annoying, (up to bieng painful in some way) ...... and so, one engages, watches, listens to get that " good feeling " and puts up with the bad part of it, until it is becoming too hard toput up with thebad and then one just screams.. and also... about the scream.... is a painful look type of a scream... frustration, pain, anger, or fear... or is it a yelping out of jubilance type ot a scream... like " Yahh!!!!!!!! " type of a scream..... am assuming it is the annoyed/upset type... if it is the other... the perhaps the same story applies, just minus the annoying part.... does itmake sense..? this is what happens to mineself sometimes.... and it presents itself as sort of " routines to follow " and instead of a scream... to end it all.. itis more like a grimacing, and clentching of teeth type of an experience..... minna
