Guest guest
I watched the episode last night and my heart went out to that woman with the really bad smile. She definitely looked better afterwards. But I can't help but feel that the show gave her a quick fix. In my humble opinion (and I am no doctor) she probably needed surgery. In another show, the woman had a real gummy smile (like mine) and they just stitched her lip down to her gum so that she wouldn't smile as high. This was before my surgery and my husband was mortified thinking they were going to do this to me. The woman's smile looked so fake -- kind of like my fake smile when I would be trying not to show much gum. I think these shows don't really want to do something that my take a year for the results. On the other hand, that poor woman with the bad teeth couldn't afford any of that on her own, and she has a whole new life to look forward to, so she is better off than before.
