Guest guest Posted March 2, 2004 Report Share Posted March 2, 2004 Hello, Has anyone had Upper Jaw Impaction, i think the technical term is LeForte I Maxillary Impaction. Its where the back of the top jaw grew too much and they need to go in and take slivers out to raise up the back so my bottom jaw can close all the way for my teeth to touch. Wondering about the care I need to take afterwards for my mouth. I'm having the sugery in May. Anything specific I should know? Is the weight lost permanent or mostly temporary?
