Guest guest
Hi everybody. I saw my surgeon on Thursday, and he said that I could start chewing again. He stressed that I should not over do it and take it slow. He also said I should be back to my normal diet in about three weeks. I thought I would be so happy to FINALLY be able to chew again, but to be honest.... I'm scared to chew!! My upper jaw is still numb at six weeks, and I guess I feel like I'm going to hurt something if I try to chew. Can any of you give me some peace of mind? Should I eat soft stuff only, or can I have some of the stuff I've been dying to eat like : potato chips and chicken fingers and french fries!!?? Oh, and hamburgers!! Thanks!
