I had them. They sometimes made it difficult to talk. After surgery, I had

clear " buttons' " on the outside so that the ortho could do his rubber band work.

The last 4-6 months, you will look like you have braces pretty much.

It takes longer with linguals. If things get off track, the ortho has to make

adjustments and wait to see if they are back on track. Its trickier for them

than conventional.

Maybe you could try speed barces and jsut try to get over with it as soon as

possible?
