Guest guest Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 My daughter who is 16 has a couple of patches of hair loss and some shedding all over. Dr. said it could be related to surgery. It's good to know that she is not the only one who has experienced this. When the Dr. looked at her patchy spot, she said that she could see some new hair growth comming in. She had surgery for a underbite, upper moved forward and lower back. Her bite looks so great! It is amazing. I think the hard part has been mostly the post op side effects of surgery. Breaking out in rashy type acne and now the hair. Hopefully things will settle down soon.
