Guest guest
Probably you will be numb, although I was not. Probably, you will have decent pain meds that will take care of any pain -- and maybe even make the movies funnier. (There are, as I suspect most of you know, certain films -- Blazing Saddles comes to mind -- that were intended, I am convinced, for an audience in an, um, altered state of consciousness, not that I recommend doing such for entertainment, the Old Woman said sternly.) And for sure, (when you need 'em, and only when you need them, next to antibiotics and painkillers) laughter is the very best medicine. It can reduce pain and speed healing, I believe.
