Did anyone have new joint pain after surgery?

I had upper/expansion and genio this past Friday, and the surgeon

said everything went great. I'm doing OK, but have been experiencing

some pain and crackling in my jaw joints, which was never present

before. I'm rather worried that the surgery may have caused TMJ

problems instead of averting them (which was the case for having it

done in the first place), but I'm strongly hoping the situation is

just temporary because there has been so much moved around in there

and I need to adjust. I'll be asking the surgeon about it at my

follow-up appointment this week, but wanted to know if anyone else

has experienced this.
