Guest guest
In my case, my lower jaw is too samll and backward. So, my orthodontist told me that I need to get oral surgery to advance whole lower jaw(He said the surgery would be putting one screw each side of lower jaw where wisdom teeth used to locate). However, my lower jaw will be still backward after the surgery since I naturally have very small jaw. Then, another doctor told me genioplasty can solve the problem by sliding the lower jaw bone in front . I want to know about genioplasty, especially its risk. Has anyone got lower jaw genioplasty before? It would be great if I can hear your opinion.
