Hi everybody. I had surgery back in October and was wired for 6

weeks. I still have braces for hopefully no longer than two more

months. My question is this: For those of you having had upper and

lower jaw surgery, are you having trouble chewing on hard things like

peanuts or meat? I feel as if my teeth move and I don't mean up and

down, but that they wiggle and I can't quite bite down with good

force. The numbness to my lower lip is still there but improved. Any

insights on this is appreciated. My surgeon and orthodontist think

I'm doing great. I'm very satisfied with my results, both cos

cosmetically and with my corrected underbite. I've received many

compliments on my new looks and many friends have said I have

a " killer smile " . Well folks, I look forward to hearing from you in

regards to the chewing issue. Thanks lots
