Any suggestions for ear plugging?

Has anyone found any good relief for ear plugging after upper

jaw surgery? My right ear has been plugged for 10 days now.

(Surgery was 14 days ago). I keep thinking it will drain itself, but

today I notice it's a lot worse and I'm having trouble hearing

anything out of that ear now. My surgeon recommended

decongestants... Anyone else struggled with this for a while?
