Guest guest Posted January 24, 2004 Report Share Posted January 24, 2004 I had my surgery on Jan 6th-maxilla only-4.5cm bone removed from maxilla and maxilla moved over and up-my midline was off as well- teeth only met on one side. Doing well- took 2weeks off work- left hospital 5hrs after surgery over since my insurance declined to pay. Still with some residual swelling-esp upper lip and upper cheeks. How long before that disappears? Haven't run since Jan5th- anxious to get out for a run- how long before all of you resumed your running?
