Hi Nathalie, I had no prior problems with my tmj's. I had a BSSO

(lower advancement of 7mm) and a genioplasty (reduction of 5mm).

Don't let my story scare you. Even though I have a limited opening

and occasional pain, I would do it all over again. It's not something

I can't live with. ~Cindy~

Since my surgery is basically for cosmetic purposes only, I do think

it's important that I check out the consequences of tmj .

I'll keep you posted!
