Guest guest
> Hi there, > We're quite new to the idea of using enzymes, though we have used a minimal amount of them in the past in a small way with our 4 year old son and never seen any ill-effects. We started Kirkmans Enzym-Complete with DPP-IV about 21/2 weeks ago and almost immediately have seen an eczema - type scaly pimply rash spreading over his trunk and behind the back of his knees. My son will get an eczema rash whenever he eats anything which he does not tolerate, even with enzymes. So that would be my guess if it was my son, that there was an ingredient in the enzyme that he did not tolerate. The other thing would be a celiac indication. Does the rash itch or otherwise appear to bother him? Sometimes enzymes can trigger a celiac reaction even if he did not respond this way to gluten before. Is your child gf?
