Guest guest
I had upper/lower to correct underbite, septoplasty, and turbinate reduction on Wednesday Dec. 10. I guess recovery is going OK, I just have a few concerns: -1) My nose is crooked. Is this due to the swelling that still remains? At my post-op with the surgeon yesterday he said I was still pretty swollen. -2) My teeth (upper and lower) do not line up with the center of my lips. Coupled with the crooked nose, they really appear off-center (I feel like a freak). Is this common? Am I overreacting by not waiting until the swelling goes away? -3) When will the bleeding stop? I think it is all nasal as I have to " hack up " the blood to get rid of it from the back of my throat. Thank you all for your experiences!
