Guest guest
> DH has got awful earache - probably an infection, he's had a cold the > last couple of days. How awful. Sorry I have no cures for you. However when I was in Boots buying something for my friends very sore throuat the pharmacist said that the increase in colds, sore throats, ear infections, hay fever etc this siummer is being put down to foot and mouth! Apparently the cull of the herds has meant that the cattle have not trodden into the ground the quantity of pollen etc that would be the norm. As a result there has been a massive increase in these symptons this year. Just a useless piece of info. Beverly PS Hope you had a great holiday!!!! Guest guest
Warm hotwater bottle applied to the ear always works for me - it's incredibly soothing. I'd take Arnica like sweeties, too - not because I particularly know it's good for ears but it *is* good for shock! Also soothing... Guest guest
Your membership looks fine to me. Joyce co-moderator help! For some reason I am no longer getting any emails, which makes me think I am no longer registered with yahoos egroup site. I just went there and it shows my account as being ok, so why have I had no NCT emails since yesterday? Surely not everyone is away?? If anyone knows what I need to do to rectify this problem, please can you email me direct (as I wont get email otherwise) Thanks, Mum to Rohan (4 mths)
Guest guest
Hi , I can see no reason for your not receiving emails - you are right to say you are listed as receiving indiv emails and you are not listed on our 'bouncing' members. As far as I can see there were 32 emails came through the list yeasterday but sadly I have no way of knowing which, if any of these, you received. The last one sent out on the 21st was the Pelvic Floor reminder which I think is set up to come out at 2pm UK time so maybe everyone was quiet yesterday afternoon. All the messages are available on the site. Sorry I can't be of more help. -- Sue Co-moderator Down Under
Guest guest
, Of the one or two mails I have got today, others seem to be complaining too, so maybe yahoogroups are having a bad day???? > For some reason I am no longer getting any emails, which makes me think I am > no longer registered with yahoos egroup site. There are loads of emails on the list that have not come through, I said earlier today that I had resorted to reading them online! Sad person that I am. Guest guest
Nikki, OMG!!!! Ok, first get yourself to your PCP. I think they call this situational depression.....so for a short time maybe some medicinal help might be just the ticket. Taking a little of the edge off might help with the eating and stress. Do you exercise? Exercise is a GREAT stress reliever......... OK and this is coming from the woman who SWEARS that exercise can kill you. BUT I find when I am really stressing.....I go right for the deep cleaning.......usually my kitchen. I work up a sweat.......ok it isn't the same as lifting weights or walking........but it does it for me. Do you have a personal support group? Church, family......cancer survivor support groups? At the hospital maybe? NOW...........give your self permission to feel BAD............ For me this is the hardest lesson. Forgiving myself. So, you have some good days and you have some bad days........JUST like your dear husband. You forgive him....why not yourself? Forgiving yourself goes a long way to getting everything else under control. Ok.........I think CEEP should step in here now. LOL I have done all a lay person can do. Guest guest
I need to know if anyone has had experience with retaining ALOT of fluid after surgery. My feet and legs are soooo swollen. It has been 4 weeks and my surgeon and his recommended Doctor won't do anything about it. I have had blood work (which shows all my vitals and kidney function is fine) and I have had a venous doppler to rule out blood clots. The surgeon even said I need a fluid pill but he won't give it to me!!!! I am going to see another doctor (outside the surgeons group) this week to see if he will do something. I am only 6 weeks out and I have only lost about 2 lbs per week in the last 4 weeks and I didn't loose anything this past week. I don't want to keep waiting because it might turn into a bladder/kidney infection if we wait too long. Has anyone ever experienced this????? www.geocities.com/sugarbritchez/sugarbritchez
Guest guest
TK--- it is important to treat adrenal issues before thyroid - test both. do not take a doctors word for normal - get tests yourself and go over the results. post here for proper input. do proper thyroid & adrenal testing before you do anything so you have a baseline to work off of. > > Hi everyone, > > I'm chelating, and all in all noticing HUGE improvements.
