Guest guest
Nope. No questions are idiot. But I don't quite understand them, probably because of my linguistic limitations... Now. You've just started with braces. So you're on your way. But what are the next questions? Your doctors may be telling you that you will require surgery to complete your orthodontic treatment. That is what mine said. Yes, the surgery is quite expensive. My insurance covered mine, which was lower only, completely. It may be necessary for you to have surgical work on your jaws to make the corrections complete. It was for me, and my insurance paid for the needed work. >For me, the wiring was not necessary. Many doctors today use elastic bands to support the healing jaws, having applied rigid fixation during the surgery. If that is possible for you, if will be a much easier recovery process. But ask your surgeon what he expects will be needed. Cammie
