Guest guest Posted November 29, 2003 Report Share Posted November 29, 2003 hi guys! i've just joined this site, because i visited my surgeon yesterday and he says i'm ready for my op! im having surgery to reduce my lower jaw. I'm booked in to have it on the 12th of January 2004! a matter of weeks! I was really excited, but after reading all these messages today, im v worried!! some of you have said that it takes a lonnnng time (over a month!) to get over the surgery. my surgeon sed i cud be back to school in 2 weeks. is this true?! i dont particuarly want to go back to school with a bruised and swollen face! i'm sitting my a- levels this year and its really important that i dont miss too much work. has anyone reading this had lower jaw surgery? it would be great if you could help me, in terms of what to expect and stuff! thanks ever so much, ill revisit this site later tonight. sara (england, aged 17) x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
