Guest guest
if you're post op, your desperation for somethinig GOOD will overshadow how gross this might seem. once my wires were off, i was able to eat things like eggs and other very very soft foods. TIP-the mouth can only open a little bit, so use a fork. put a tiny bit of food on teh edge of theh fork and gently slip the fork between upper and lower jaws and slide the food off w/ your tongue. i was DESPERATE for something other than soups or eggs. so i went to carl's jr and got a western bacon cheeseburger w/ extra barbeque sauce and about 5 bbq packets. i went home, threw it in teh cuisinart (withOUT the bread) w/ mayo and all teh sauce and pureed it. it was AMAZING!!!!! it was soft enough to spoon in in small quantities. i also got In n Out and pureed a double double w/out the bread. you can order extra sides of the sauce to make it softer. i just wanted to offer up that advice if you've got a burger craving. it wn't look pretty...but when you're on this diet, you won't care. > > > > > > Hi All: > > > > > > Well, today marks my 3rd week being post-op.
