Guest guest
Oh Cammie, I am far too sarcastic I don't think my wit comes across well in this posting! " Not responsible enough for braces " ??? Hello? Mama and Papa gotta do some supervision, methinks. They have to be " responsible " for supervision. =oh trust me I supervise now but if she goes to her fathers (and I supervise him on that too But she'll go all two weeks at summer camp without touching a brush...never mind shampooing her hair ( I don't blame her, as I was not the most hygenic kid - we've got familiar skin problems so the hair has to be washed once a day) But the right time to treat a kiddo, I think, is when the kiddo's mouth and structure dictate. =definetly, however I was just saying that if she's going to have surgey then I won't put her through braces two times if its not necessary. I also think it's a really cruel tactic to set up any part of orthodontic treatment, even in jest, as a punishment. =oh sorry I am just joking here, I've only joked once with her about head gear, a very popular show for ten year old girls is something called 'BRACEFACE' where the popular girl spends eternity in braces, so braces are actually cool...and her 'cool' cousin just got them so even the headgear isnt a threat..- keep in mind she's seen me through it all too. You are correct thought that I should tread lightly on it and stress the positives. Shiloh
