Do any of you know about this condition? If so can you explaine it to me some

more?

Kp

Bobby has not been as well-came down with a condition called Pluredimia (not

sure if I spelled it right). Don't remember if I told you about it. He is

lacking fluid around his lungs-just the opposite of Pluresy. Then came down

with phnumonia (Again-sorry about spelling). Anyhow, he was off work for

quite some time-went back for another chest x-ray. Called the doctor the

other day-still has fluid in his lungs

condition for some time and I just found out today and I am scared.

, the closest I've come so far with what references I have at home is

Pleurodynia. Could that be it. It says it is acute inflammation of the

intercostal muscles and the muscular attachment of the diaphragm to the chest

wall. Sudden severe pain and tenderness, fever, headache, and anorexia.

Aggravated by movement and breathing. No cough or pleural effusion.

Doesn't sound like the opposite of pleurisy does it. I'll keep checking.

When I lost all of my " favorites " I lost all my medical sites. Still trying

to get them back.

Sorry I wasn't of more help.

, just re read your post and didn't catch that he had pneumonia last

time. DUH!! I just read that there is a pneumonia called pleuropneumonia

that is caused by a mycoplasma bacteria. I know when my youngest daughter

had pneumonia, it wouldn't clear up at all. kept giving her all sorts of

antibiotics. When they finally did a blood test they found she had

mycoplasma pneumonia and that erythromiacin was the one and only drug that

would cure it. I'm sure there are more drugs out there for it now, but just

a thought.
