Hi Everyone,

This may sound like a silly question, but with upper/lower coming up

in six months or so, I've been thinking about the fact that I'm such a

lightweight, and am technically not supposed to even be able to donate

blood. I wonder if this will have any effect on my recovery time, or

any other aspect of the surgery, including blood loss. F.Y.I., I'm 37,

weigh between 100-105 pounds. Doc says I'll lose ten percent of body

weight, which means I won't be a pretty sight walking around at 90

pounds. Kind of hard to imagine. Hopefully, I'll gain the weight back

quickly.

I do try (in the summer and spring months) to be athletic, so I'm a

pretty solid 105 pounds, run a few days a week, healthy, etc.

Any other " petites " out there willing to share your experience with

this surgery?

Thanks!

Amelia
