Guest guest Posted January 10, 2004 Report Share Posted January 10, 2004 -Oh man do I EVER have this problem! (3 and 1/2 weeks post op.) I have bands on as well with the splint. The different pressure in my ears makes me INSANE. Especially when driving. My LEFT ear pops when I swallow, but not quite enough so I can hear clearly. I did tell my surgeon about it and he said some of it is from the fluid from swelling and another complication is the fixed position of my jaw with the bands. I cannot wait to really yawn or chew!
