Guest guest
Hi , I didn't mean to imply that surgeons cut without good reason! just that their approach is going to be surgical, not alternatives, since that is their education and experience. And it's true that my surgeon couldn't tell the extent of surgery required without seeing my final molds, he just gave me a general idea of what to expect from my initial consultation with him (which included a review of the original molds, xrays and other info provided by my ortho/TMD specialist). I just think that a good TMD/TMJ specialist has access to more alternatives, including non-surgical means. > > > Is there anyone from the UK who can tell me how they have managed > > to > > > get their doctors to take them seriously. > > > Been going to the doctors regularly since I was a child (I'm 29 > now) > > > for facial pain, headaches, really bad sinus trouble etc etc I'm > > sure > > > you all know the other associated problems.
