Good wishes to your daughter. If she gets skin troubles, they'll pass. She'll be weary of 'em by the time they do, but they will pass. My skin started to get oily about 2 weeks post-op and is starting to clear up now (I'm a little over 5 weeks post-op) Still a little oily, but no more breakouts. My surgeon said the steroids could stay in your system for quite a while, but that I should stop feeling the effects of them after 2 months. Happy healing to your daughter!
