Michele,

The hyperness in the beginning that eventually subsides is more

common with the Peptizyde, not the Zyme Prime. I would consider

waiting on the Pep until you figure out if he is intolerant of

something in the ZP, since this is an unusual reaction to it (I do

know of a few that had difficulty with it, though). Another option

is dropping the ZP for now and starting slowly with the Pep. You can

always stay the course with the ZP, but I would probably go slowly

with the dosing.

Is he on any other supplements, particularly vitamin B? If so, has

he been on them less than a month before starting enzymes? This is

an important factor, too.

Hi ,

He's not on Vit B but in the past month has started omega 3s & CLO. He was on

colloidal silver for 10 days but that's over now. He's been on his probiotics

a good 2 mos now. I added some extra folic acid in the past couple of day for

hyperness; no help, that's for sure yet.

Since he's been on probiotics for a while, even from the beginning of the

diet when we saw initial improvement, I think I'll keep up with those for

now. The EFAs & CLO are new though, so that could be a culprit as well. I

think I will stop those for a few days & see how he does on the enzymes

without the oils.

This poor child - seems like he's my little science project as my husband

said. And I was never good at science - ugh!

Thank you,

Michele

Thank you Patti, , , Dana, & everyone (sorry I forget all the

names) for your support, especially during this which is probably the most

challenging time of my life - & of 's.

Blessings,

Michele

Michele,

You have several options. You could stop the ZP while staying on all

the other supplements. You could stop or reduce the omega 3s and CLO

and stay on the ZP to see what happens. You could reduce the ZP and

go slower or stop it altogether and try the Pep.

If you didn't see a significant improvement from the omega 3s and

CLO, I think I'd drop those for awhile and try one of the enzymes (my

unmedical opinion). I know we've had some parents report their

children could not tolerate EFAs or CLO. I would be curious to see

what happens if you drop them while continuing with the ZP or

starting the Pep. Good luck deciding what to do!

Too funny! Your husband sounds like my husband. I have to provide

all kinds of evidence before he'll let me try anything on poor #1

boy. I wasn't great at science either, and kind of wish I hadn't

nodded off in there. I remember thinking I would do anything in my

power to never ever set foot in a chemistry class and I certainly

wouldn't need that stuff some day. Oops.

Be sure to let us know how it goes.

--Michele, Just remember we are all going through this together and

are all in one stage or another. My son reacts terribly to efa's. He

was agressive and tantrumy on fish oil and flax oil. The only thing he

tolerates well right now is enzymes, calcium, magnesium and pro-biotics.

We tried a multi-vitamin and eventually that started to get to him as

well. I know how you feel. Good luck Patti
