Guest guest
I saw my OS yesterday. After doing surgery on my models and going over a few variations, he decided that I only need an upper, not an upper and lower as he had said previously. Although, if I wanted it, he could do upper and lower in an effort to make my jaw line softer and more feminine. My husband and both of our mothers were at this appointment to get the scoop. All four of us had the same answer without even thinking about it. Who cares about the jaw line? I just want to bite! Kris
Guest guest
SO having surgery done to only the upper jaw is better than having it done to both I presume??? If so, can someone explain to this rookie about all of that???? > I saw my OS yesterday. Guest guest
The more surgery, the more chances of things going wrong, and the more there is to heal. Also, longer time in anesthetic (he was talking before about 8 hours. I forgot to ask how much shorter it would be now). Because I won't have a lower surgery, I don't have to worry about lower numbness. But yes, just having the surgery at all is a major thing. Recovery is still recovery, limited diet is still limited diet. Still, I'm glad for every little thing to make it easier. I hadn't looked forward to drooling, and now I'm thinking maybe it won't be an issue? Can an upper-only people tell me if I'm going to drool anyway? Kris > > I saw my OS yesterday. Guest guest
Better? Only if it fixes what ails you. Easier. I think so. The fewer tissues and bones that are disturbed, the easier the recovery. But that only matters when it solves the problem. C. > > I saw my OS yesterday.
