Guest guest
Britt--you are way ahead of me, actually. I re-read my message, and I left out one VERY important thing: it's all liquified! I can hardly open my lips still. I'm tighly banded shut, so I have to DRINK everything. A baby spoon sounds weeks away from me! My zip-n-squeezes are getting a workout. Basically, I started out with soup and easily-blended stuff (stews), but when my husband made himself meatballs, it smelled SO good, and I was so sick of ensure. I said, put it in the blender. He thinnned it with spaghetti sauce and broth to a liquid consistency. Then he strained it and I drank it. We quickly progressed to whatever I could think of or whatever he was eating. I had a cheese-steak shake last night. It was good. Maybe you could try a few " staw " meals between your attempts at a spoon. I would imagine that that is frustrating. Let me know what you think.
