Guest guest Posted January 4, 2004 Report Share Posted January 4, 2004 It sounds like everything that you are experiencing is normal - the spasms do go away and subside once your jaw gets more used to being wired/banded shut and the numbness should eventually go away - it just takes time for everything to heal and it is a lengthly process.
