Guest guest
Hi all you " old " timers! I see Irish, Cammie and Cheryl are still on board. Report: The bite is still dead on. The surgeon and the orthodontist are pleased. My tmj's are a WHOLE other story. Still wearing a splint 24/7 and go to Gainesville once a month for adjustments. Most day are painfree as long as I behave. (no wide opening or heavy chewing)Christmas time was difficult. TOO many goodies around!! I've put on alot of weight in the last year. I am not sure if it's the medication, diet, lack of exercise or possibly all the above. I still get the occasional burning sensation in my chin. Which is very strange since I only ever had one tiny spot under my chin that was numb. My smile has been altered, but no one seems to notice but me. Are there any other January 2003 people here? How is everyone doing? Funny story....I went for my annual dental checkup. The new assistant was going through my chart and came upon some x-rays. She blurts out, " Oh, my goodness, you've broken your jaw TWICE! " I started chuckling and had to explain that it was done surgically. She had tons of questions. Another assistant and the dentist came in and we just about had a party!! How everyone is well. Take Care. ~Cindy~
