Let me know your favorite food and I'll eat it for you next week...You can reciprocate when you're back on solids a week before me (LOL). I had had surgery in September 2002 to split my palate for a rapid palate expander and wisdom tooth extraction. Then braces, now this. Looking forward to having it over with and this site has alleviated my fears of looking like an Oompah (willy wonka). My worst fears surround the first night. Other than that I've been telling people I'm eating now for two. Months! Kidding, but the jokes are keeping people from giving me the head tilt sympathy look. When do you get out? Ha ha--eat a southwest chicken sub (Subway) and some crunchy sun chips for me! I don't know how long it'll be before I blend one! ;-) I'm going in Tuesday morning (I'm the first surgery) and I'm staying overnight. I will (hopefully) going home on Wedneday.
