Hi Nanci,

Running was the last form of exercise the docs would let me do. I

started Spinning *gingerly* at 1 1/2 weeks and light weight training

(no clenching) at around the same time. I did the elliptical trainer

for a couple of weeks and then started running gently on the

treadmill (less impact) at around 4 weeks. The docs were not

thrilled but I couldn't wait any longer. Seems no harm was done as

my jaw is holding tight and I'm running Miami Tropical Marathon next

Sunday. Hope you get back on the road soon,

Cheryl

Nanci,

At 3 weeks my doctor gave me the ok to do any type of

physical activity that i wanted. just as long as there

wasn't a chance i would get hit in the face :) i was

going to try running as soon as he gave the ok, but my

cheeks are still numb and when i tried to run i had

the most uncomfortable, unusual feeling in that area.

so, i haven't pursued it. ask your doctor what he

thinks. i bet it will be ok in a few weeks!

walking for now,

aileen
