I had an appointment with my ortho on Monday. It lasted about 10

minutes, it was just my ortho looking very carefully at my teeth.

Can't do much more at 1 week post-op... He said that everything

looked great. :)

That's wonderful :)

I'll be seeing my surgeon to get my elastics removed next Tuesday -

then I'll be seeing my surgeon again to have my splint removed on

January 6th. I have an appointment with my ortho right afterwards.

Great! Next Tuesday? That's quick! Not all your elastics I guess? I

do have an appointment with Garfield next Friday... I wonder if

that's what in store for me! That'd be nice!

Oh! You're getting your splint removed on my birthday! That *must*

be a good sign! ;)

Hi Marlaine!

I'll have one elastic on each side which I can remove for 4 hours per

day - namely to eat and brush my teeth. Yeah, it is a little quick,

but if I didn't have them removed on the 23rd - I'd have to wait

until the 29th since my surgeon doesn't work from Dec 24th until the

28th - so he's going to cheat a little and removed them just shy of 2

weeks. That way I won't have to wait an extra week and I can attempt

soft food by Christmas.

Your birthday is January 6th? I'll have to remember that. Jan 6th is

my big day. I have to go to Repentigny to see my surgeon to have my

splint removed and then go all the way to the other end of the island

of Montreal to Kirkland to see my orthodontist so he can check out my

teeth for the first time.

Hope you're doing well *hug*

Johanne
