Guest guest
Lori Anne, I just bought the mederma yesterday at Walmart. I think it was 11 something there. I didnt have a drain so I don't have to worry about that hole but the one that doesnt want to heal is gonna give me a scar, there is just no way around it. bummer, too, i've already been shopping for my bikini! NOT! I will promise to be patient from now on! I'm so glad you are doing so well. You are so right, we are gonna be just great and we're gonna do it great! Lots of protein, low in fat. Hey Deb I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE burritos and pintos and cheese thanks I will definitely add these to my fast food item list mmmmm mmmmm good. One more thing I did another experiment tonight ladies and gentlemen.......... sugar free, fat free Edy's chocolate and vanilla swirl ice cream. I had about two or three tablespoons of it and it went down nice and smooth. I amazed myself because when it comes to ice cream I could usually really pack it in and now just a teeny, tiny bit satisfied me this is so cool. Guest guest
Debbie, Do you know how much protein is in the pintos and cheese? I love that and I have had it a few times since my surgery. It is a great pick me up and a nice way to be able to eat with the gang when they want Taco Bell! Hey The Taco Bell Pintos and cheese have 180 calories per serving, 7 grams of fat per serving, 20 grams of carbohydrates per serving, and 10 grams of protein per serving and it all sounds good to me so this is something I will absolutely be enjoying in the months to come. Thanks Guys for the advice, Lori Anne Lap RNY 8/25/03 274/259/
Guest guest
Ladies, If you (are allowed to) add a little bit of the grilled chicken to your bean burrito or pintos and cheese along with some red sauce it's MMMM MMMM GOOD! I'm speaking from experience here. I did that about two weeks ago with a bean burrito and just ate the inside and it was yummy. I got looked at funny for just eating the inside but hey, who cares right?! 432/370/170 Lap RNY 6/20/03 Re: Lori Anne Debbie, Do you know how much protein is in the pintos and cheese? We are planning for a 2/12/05 wedding in ton, South Carolina where his family lives. I am in New York City myself right now so I fly to Colorado quite often to spend time with him and his children. I have a 14 year old myself who keeps me quite active LOL. My fiance is a body builder go figure LOL we are so much alike in other regards and I guess as I lose weight he will whip my old bod into shape. I just hope at the end of all this I don't look like ARNOLD!! you know the terminator LOL. He is also retired Air Force he just retired a year ago so he is still very by the clock and all and I am a native New Yorker who should have really been born in California because I am extremely laid back and I even talk like a valley girl which shocks and amazes all who meet me LOL. I Love It!! Please keep me informed on your progress toward your WLS. If you do have lap you will be more capable of getting back into the swing of things faster. I am enjoying this which I believe will be my last week of staying home. I see my surgeon on Wed and I feel great so I expect he will ask so Lori Anne you feel good enough to go back to work and I will say yeah on Monday LOL Have a great week Constance you have a lovely name Lori Anne Lap RNY 8/25/03 274/259/
Guest guest
Good Morning Lori Anne, I just wanted to thank you for your email yesterday. It was quite helpful, so much so that I have saved it for future reference.(Hope you don't mind=)!) You sound alot like me. My pain threshold is also very high. I had a " lumpectomy " about 6 months ago and a hysterectomy nearly two years ago and tylenol or was is ibuprophen worked just fine for me. I seriously don't think that I will be able to have someone to help me out. It all depends on when I have the surgery. I live too far from my relatives to come and help. I'm about 120 miles from my mom and half that distance from my brother. So,not sure how it will go, but with or without them I just have this really good feeling about it all. I think things will be just fine. I'm feel extremely positive but not unrealistic about it. On a different note, where are you again? You said you fiance was in the Springs. That's about 4o miles away from me. I'm glad that he is your emotional cheerleader! Sometimes emotional support is more important than the rest.
