Guest guest
Dear Jan, We are about the same time out (I just had my year last week) and we are the same height. My goal is 165 and I'm told that this is a very reasonable one by my doctor. I still want to lose 70 more lbs., but I started at 386 so even our losses are close. I've got quite a few people in my in-person support group who have gotten to the goal they wanted and then kept losing, and then there are those that never quite make it to their goal. Everyone is individual and it's hard to answer that facet of your question. However, if you find that you reach and pass your goal, and you keep losing, what I've been told is that you decrease your protein intake somewhat and increase your carb intake until you find the place where you actually settle. Seems pretty easy to me, but I'll have to judge how easy it really is once I hopefully get there. Great job on your weightloss, kiddo. live each day like it's your last... love like you've never been hurt...
